Program Coordinator: Nutrition Education
With direction and partnership from the Program Director, this role coordinates the tasks, interns/AmeriCorps members, and volunteers to implement and grow the Nutrition Education program, including building and fostering relationships with community members and organizations, updating and expanding community agencies interested in classes, and contributing to the development and assessment of program’s impact. This role also serves as the Site Staff contact for the AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps programs.
Full-time, hourly position. Pay range: 22.16 – 25.85/hour
Finance Assistant
The Finance Assistant supports the day-to-day transactions of Clark County Food Bank including donations and expenses. This individual plays an important role in managing donor data systems and donor and finance reports. This position will work with all areas of the Food Bank from donors and events, to budgeting and expense coding.
This is a part-time role. The range is $22.16-27.69.

AmeriCorps
We are actively recruiting for our Nutrition Education, Food Distribution, and Farming & Gleaning AmeriCorps programs.
These openings are managed through the Washington Service Corps, the state office for AmeriCorps. AmeriCorps provides opportunities to develop valuable work skills while serving in a national service program. Terms are typically 10.5 months, 40 hours per week, and provide a housing stipend of $33,150 for a 10.5 term.
AmeriCorps Food Distribution Associates
Two full-time Food Distribution Associates provide essential support to the food distribution programs at Clark County Food Bank, which include two food pantries, mobile distributions, and home deliveries. They help with client intake, inventory management, stocking shelves, leading volunteers, and more! This role directly serves individuals who face food insecurity and provides access to needed food.
AmeriCorps Farming & Gleaning Associates
Two full-time Farming & Gleaning Associates organize and manage volunteers, procure fruits and vegetables through farming and gleaning, and partner with local farms and farmers markets to coordinate donations. Their efforts directly result in increased amounts of fresh produce available to vulnerable populations facing hunger.
AmeriCorps Nutrition Educators
Five Nutrition Educators provide hands on education to low-income kids, youth, adults, and families in topics of nutrition, cooking, gardening, and grocery shopping. This team plays a central role in Clark County Food Bank’s efforts to address root causes.
Volunteers
Volunteers are a vital part of daily operations at Clark County Food Bank. Individuals like our receptionists, maintenance specialists, farm & nutrition education volunteers, and other roles ensure that our daily operations run smoothly. A full list of opportunities are over on our Volunteer page.

All regular work is in-person at Clark County Food Bank, no remote, at up to 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. Some weeks may have evenings and weekend work requirements. Regular, full-time employment comes with the following benefits (healthcare, vision, dental, PTO, holidays, retirement, wellness program, and more). All positions come with benefits required by Washington State employment laws.
AmeriCorps positions are contracted through Washington Service Corps for a 8-10.5 month term of service. AmeriCorps members receive a monthly living allowance (stipend) of $33,150 for a 10.5 term. Additional benefit and compensation information can be found here.
