32 STORES x 5 DAYS A WEEK = 640 STORE VISITS PER MONTH
Fresh Alliance is the name given to our local grocery store food recovery program, which daily provides valuable nutritious food to our community. This program is staffed by a volunteer corps of 50+ individuals who drive to local stores, sort and repackage food, and push it out the door each day to local hunger agencies. Currently, we obtain meat, dairy, and other perishable items at over 30 stores around Clark County and are able to recover over 2 million pounds of fresh food in our effort to alleviate hunger.
